Bo Bierley began calling in the Raleigh Area in 1990 after taking lessons only a few years prior. He began his training by teaching beginner classes at the Rhamkatt Wheel-A-Rounds, The Rainbow Squares, and the Raleigh Ramblers. Max Arnold, who called for the Cary Crosstrailers for many years, was instrumental in Bo’s development. Bo was a member of the Cary Crosstrailers when Max retired and Vance McDaniel became the Crosstrailers Caller. Bo currently calls for the Pope Promenaders and the Durham Twirlers in addition to the Cary Crosstrailers. A member of Callerlab and the current Secretary of the NC Callers Association, Bo lives with his wife Pat in Harnett County.
